My name is Rija and I am a GDC registered Dental Hygienist. I am a part of this amazing team at Parkside Dental Care. I originally gained my Bachelors of Dental Surgery degree in 2018. I have also worked here as trainee dental nurse. I thrive on constantly upgrading my skills by attending different postgraduate courses, so I can deliver the latest and best treatments to my patients. I enjoy educating and advising patients on the importance of maintaining their teeth and gums as this is the key factor in helping patients to maintain their oral health and preventing gum disease. I also enjoy making you smile more with treatments such as teeth whitening ,polishing and airflow. I thoroughly enjoy all aspects of my work and given my varied history in the profession, I have been lucky enough to see many different sides of the Dental world. I am very enthusiastic about my work and ensure that all of our patients have a professional and positive end to end experience. I strive to meet patient’s objectives and deliver the highest possible standards of care with the help of my team.

Taken on as a new patient on Monday & got my appointment with in few days.
Had my treatment today, receptionists lovely & polite & dentist and his helper where lovely too. For someone who doesn't like dentist, I felt at ease.

I am so anxious when attending the dentist and the thought of having root canal without sedation was overwhelming. Roopa was very reassuring, calm and understanding with me and she did everything at my pace. I tried a new coping strategy of listening to music on my headphones which helped keep me distracted. Roopa and her team were very thoughtful and gentle, keeping me calm throughout. Thankyou so much to a great team! :) x

I am always looked after at parkside. I hate going to the dentist and probably wouldn't attend if it wasn't for Roopa. Dont ever let her leave. Shes amazing and always looks after me and listens to me.
